Dearborn to Dayton

Continued: Greenfield Village

.
It's All Wright!  Wright Brothers' home moved to Greenfield Village, the outdoor component of Henry Ford Museum, Dearborn MI. If there's a hatshop, Alyce will find it -- in the Village across from Wright home.
Bud and Alyce bathe in the horse trough on the Village Green. Not all transportation requires A LOT of horsepower -- these guys can pull your 200 horsepower modern car out of a ditch, you know!
.
The town of Greenfield Village included bumming around with the Clark brothers, no relation to the candy bar.  They are Alyce's "bookends." Bud, Alyce & Howard all picked this house as the hands down favorite -- Robert Frost's house moved to Greenfield & right next door to Noah Wegbster's house & THE dictionary.
..

President of the Automotive Hall of Fame still stunned by Alyce's trip.  Right behind Alyce's head is a photo of very handsome Louis Cheverlote & cigar-chomping Barney Oldfield.  The guy appearing to doing the introductions is Walter Chrysler. Try your hand at the hand crank!  Some things have in-proved over 70 years but body-styling still was it's best in the 1930's
That's Bud's posterior with the posterior of a $28,000 '57 Chevy -- drive it away in Wayne MI! A fond farewell to Betty Johnson who holds the record for putting up with Calrks & Alyce: 3-days.
